... is the title of Jon's upcoming Christmas single.
The track can be previewed on the link below and will be available for purchase online on December 7th.
Jon will be releasing a Christmas song he wrote himself. The release date has yet to be announced.
From his Facebook/Twitter on November 10:
"Just picked the cover for the Christmas song! It's coming soon, my friends! (meaning the song...and Christmas too)"
More to come..
Two of the 3 new songs performed at Military Park have been uploaded on Youtube.

You Are What I'm Here For
I don't have details about the Military Park show that took place yesterday afternoon, but I did find a photo set on Flickr, you can view the pics in this link :

I found the other 'untitled song' he performed in NYC is "Maybe It's Over, But I Don't Feel It", which is a line he sings during the chorus.
I've discovered 3 more unreleased songs last night. It's amazing how these songs pop up out of nowhere. Two of them didn't have titles and are fairly recent, and the other has a title and was recorded over 2 years ago.
The Words (followed by Industry) - this is the oldest unreleased track I found. It would have probably ended up on OK Now. Performed at the UGA on April 2008.

Untitled - performed at the Indiana State Fair, last August. This would be a great album opener for the upcoming record.

Untitled - performed at the Launchpad in Albuqueque, NM (2009?)

I will be putting up the audio very soon, enjoy these videos in the meantime.
Last night I had the opportunity to attend the free Origins Rock Concert in New York City at Webster Hall. Jon was one of the 3 artists performing. His guitarist Dylan Williams and drummer Chad Kinner tagged along. Luke was M.I.A.
He performed after Ryan Star to an underwhelming/poor crowd (that's how I saw it). It seemed like a Ryan Star and Macy Gray audience in attendance.
His setlist:
Industry
Beating My Heart
Why I'm Talking to You (with crowd participation)
New York State of Mind (Billy Joel cover) > Untitled New Song
Be Someone (new song)
Beautiful DIsaster
When I heard him say he was going to sing a new song, I immediately pressed the record button on my camera -- no video, just audio. I was too nervous to hold up my camera. Based on previous recording experience, I've always had bad luck by being told no video recording was allowed.
Here it is:

The song is great, love the melody. The album version should be just as great. Jon said the new album is coming out soon after he's done recording it (which he should be doing any week now).
A few pictures from my Facebook:
Enjoy!

The night's strongest performances came from singer-songwriter-keyboardist Jon McLaughlin and, later, Jason Mraz.
McLaughlin displayed his amazing skills when seated at the piano, and how his fantastic voice brought added power to his performance. His set was anchored by poignant versions of "Beautiful Disaster" and the exquisite "So Close" (featured in the movie "Enchanted").
